Els projectes, al nostre estudi, sempre són pensats i desenvolupats com a paisatge; com a proposta de modificació o creació de paisatges, de l’escala domèstica a l’escala territorial. Els projectes, entesos com a paisatge, es desenvolupen de manera similar siguin de l’escala que siguin. Seqüències, ritmes, juxtaposicions, moviments, velocitat… amb el buit com a element de relació: aquest és el conjunt d’eines que utilitzem a totes les escales de treball intentant crear paisatges rics i complexos.

[The projects carried out at David Closes office are always developed as a landscape design; as a proposal for changing or creating new landscapes, from the domestic size to the territorial scale. The architectural projects, seen as a landscape, are carried out in a similar process whatever size they are. Sequences, rhythms, juxtaposition, movement, speed… with the void as a relationship: these are the set of tools used by David Closes on any working scale to create rich and complex landscapes.]

El projecte forma part dels projectes seleccionats del pavelló català a la Biennal de Venècia sota el títol d’Arquitectures empeltades/Catalunya a Venècia _ [The project of the Auditorium in the Sant Francesc convent is exhibited at the 14th Biennale di Architettura di Venezia (Italy, June-November 2014). The Sant Francesc project is one of the selected works of the pavilion of Catalonia entitled Grafting Architecture/Catalonia at Venice]
