aigualínies _ La proposta de renovació de l’espai públic del nucli antic de Sant Pere de Riudebitlles s’estructura a partir de la geometria de línies d’aigua: la reintroducció de recs de la xarxa hidràulica dels molins paperers de la població i el traçat de línies d’aiguafons a la pavimentació. La reutilització de la pedra de les vorades existents en el nou paviment crea acumulacions, com sediments, davant dels edificis històrics protegits del nucli.
El traçat dels recs proposats s’acabaran, en futures fases, en punts singulars del teixit urbà. En aquests punts, el caixó metàl·lic dels recs es desplegarà formant un bassiol i unes estructures metàl·liques reixades per al desenvolupament de plantes enfiladisses. Aquestes estructures reixades adoptaran diferents formes i funcions: porta-umbracle, mur-pèrgola i barana-mirador.
La primera fase de les obres ha permès renovar l’espai públic del carrer principal del nucli antic, el carrer Major.

waterlines _ [The proposal of public space renovation of the historical centre of Sant Pere de Riudebitlles is based on the geometry of water lines: the reintroduction of irrigation ditches of the village’s paper mills hydraulic network and the trace of pavement valleys. The reuse of the existing stone kerbs in the new pavement creates accumulations, like sediments, in front of the historical protected buildings of the town centre.
The proposed irrigation ditches will finish, in future phases, in singular points of the urban fabric. In these points, the metal ditches proposed will unfold into a pond and into a metallic grating structure built for the growth of climbing plants. These grating structures will take on different forms and functions: door-umbraculum, wall-pergola or railing-belvedere.
The first phase of the works has focused on renovating the public space of the main street of the town centre, Carrer Major].
